In January 1970, Traffic Sound's second album called Virgin appears on the market. This is the first Peruvian rock album with 100% original tunes, also was made with an incredible gatefold cover for the first time. This album contains the hit single: "Meshkalina" with trippy sounds and hypnotic Latin rhythms, power rock with hippie lyrics at its best. The uniqueness of the sound made this band to something special, their influences are The Animals, Iron Butterfly, Jimi Hendrix Experience and Pink Floyd. This album includes acoustic tunes like: "Virgin", "Simple" and "Last Song", and also progressive rock like: "Yellow Sea Days" and Jews caboose. The music is wild, freaky and partly weird but also harmonic - one of the best South American albums besides Laghonia, Zapata, Modulo 1000....! - 35 years later, Peruvian label Repsychled Records, has the pleasure to present a reissue of this album, like a mini-LP CD, which includes lot of unseen photos of the band, records and lyrics. This reissue was done using the original master tapes and remastered with tube-amplifiers. A must for 60´s fans!
