The first of what will be an occasional tie-in with the US' Omnivore Recordings brings us this gem of a release for Record Store Day.
Packed in a facsimile of the original master tape box is a 180g replica of the original test pressing, blank label, tracking and lead sheets, plus mastering card.
As a special bonus, two out of the 1000 boxes will contain original white labels from 1975, signed by Big Star's Jody Stephens, mastering engineer Larry Nix (who cut both this and the original) and Ardent Records' John Fry. Will the lucky recipients please send us a photo of themselves so we can put you on our website.
