Digipack CD A British soul troupe that backed American singers on tours throughout Europe, this outfit was transformed into a
progressive rock band when it signed to the Harvest label in 1970.
This was their second and last album, which features founder members Garth and Norman Watt-Roy. (Norman later found
fame as the bass player with Ian Dury's Blockheads).
'The Going's Easy' has six tracks originally released in 1970, including 'Magic Woman Touch' and 'Tell The Story.' We
have added 'Mountain Song' as a bonus B-side track.
Trumpets and saxes work well with the core line up of guitar, keyboards, bass and drums, producing a truly powerful
sound to rival the likes of Chicago and Blood, Sweat & Tears. -Rare Bonus track! -Expertly remastered - superb sound quality.-Booklet with authoritative and extensive
liner notes by respected author and
journalist Chris Welch.
