This collection documents Ray Fenwick's career via a fascinating selection of music - and some new to CD rarities. There is the previously unissued ska of Ray's first professional band Rupert & The Red Devils and the rare Freakbeat classic "Crawdaddy Simone" by The Syndicats. Ray's Dutch experience is reflected in tracks by The Tee Set and After Tea. In 1968 Ray joined the Spencer Davis Group and this CD features his first recorded work with the band and two later singles. Also featured is Spencer Davis offshoot, The Murgatroyd Band, and the theme to the cult childrens TV series "Magpie". Ray's work with the Ian Gillan includes his contribution to the Deep Purple singer's solo project in 1974 and the Ian Gillan band in 1976. The album is complimented by extensive sleeve notes.
