Morpheus from Warburg / Germany was a band playing progressive jazz-rock without vocals. They were formed from the former band Opossum, founded in 1971 and who´s LP will be probably released later on this label. The only LP of Morpheus is from 1976 and consist all of own compositions, which were worked out in detail. It was highly important for the band to try syncopated rhythms, sound shapes made up by means of echos and to fit them all into their tracks. The original-LP, as this official reissue, were published in an edition of 500 copies! A fine vinyl-gem and made with a phantastic sound-quality on 180-gram vinyl."
