Pirana’s heavily percussive brand of progressive rock was a huge hit with audiences in Australia in the early 70s. Although often compared to Santana, they brought their own biting style to a superb selection of original material, with Tony Hamilton’s superb lead guitar to the fore. Their classic debut album was originally released in early 1971, and is reissued here in its original gatefold sleeve, together with background notes and rare images.
