The only full album recorded by the Berkeley-based group in 1968. We featured their earlier EP plus three unreleased out-takes on “The Berkeley EPs” (CDWIKD 153). Notes From The Underground were pioneers of the San Francisco sound - they appeared with Jefferson Airplane and the Charlatans at the Family Dog’s first promotion in 1965. Despite being from the West Coast, this album was recorded at Vanguard’s New York studios with Sam Charters producing. Unfortunately the band split shortly afterwards.
