Home And Awayis the first in a series of the entire Gregson Collister catalogue to be released by Gottdiscs. It has not been available on CD for many years, so this release should be welcomed with open arms by fans. The album comprises new originals plus some covers and songs from Clive Gregson's Any Trouble days. 'Home And Away'has sold more than 75,000 copies in the UK (Silver). Clive has had a high profile recently as guitarist with Nanci Griffith and writer of her radio hit 'I Love This Town'. Album is the fans' favourite, recorded at an early acoustic gig. Clive's songs are even better known via subsequent covers: 'Home Is Where The Heart Is' (Fairport Convention), 'Touch And Go' (Kim Carnes) and others. 2006 version was remastered in Nashville by Clive, and includes new sleeve notes by Clive plus previously unseen photos. Clive tours the UK twice a year and features many of these songs in his live set. Gregson (born January 4, 1955) was the founder of Any Trouble, a pub-rock/new wave quartet, in Manchester in 1975. The band's sound and Gregsons songwriting and singing reminded some of Elvis Costello, and Any Trouble was signed by Stiff, Costellos label.
