The Gods were the musical launching pad for Uriah Heep members Ken Hensley and Lee Kerslake and 'Genesis' was their first studio LP, originally issued by Columbia Records in 1968.They played a typical late-'60s British psychedelia filled with hammond organ, mellotron and distorted guitars. The wonderful album artwork was designed by Hipgnosis.
