Fuzzy Duck is a drinking game. It is also the name was chosen by the band as an in-joke, and became the title of this 1971 debut album. As one of the progressive eras most sought after artefacts, it gives us a fascinating glimpse back to a time when rock music was evolving at a furious rate.
Fuzzy Duck has been compared to groups like Wishbone Ash, Camel and Atomic Rooster. They certainly maintain a high standard of musicianship. The Fuzzies formed in North London in 1970 and signed to Decca offshoot label MAM, but only 500 copies of their LP were pressed.
