Digipack CD 'Friday On My Mind' was a huge international success for The Easybeats, the young Australian band who found fameand fortune in London in 1966. When the group came to town in search of hit records, they teamed up with The Kinks'producer Shel Talmy. The result was one of the greatest beat group hits of the Sixties.The single was a Top Ten hit in Britain, Germany, America and back home in Australia. The song also lent its nameto one of the band's succession of excellent albums.'Friday On My Mind' was first released in 1967 and includes a dozen tracks featuring mostly compositions by foundermembers Harry Vanda and George Young.
