All (except one track) are previously unreleased. The box set has been meticulously researched and designed for Gottdiscs by David Suff and John Haxby who produced the recent Topic Records Acoustic folk box. The whole package is beautifully finished with a 28 page booklet detailing the history of the world-famous Sidmouth Festival as well as full details about the tracks recorded - musicians appearing, performance dates - which span several decades as well as a small history about the songs themselves. All tracks have been authorised for use and granted full approval by the respective artists. Expect superb critical reviews in all major music publications - Mojo, Q, Folk Roots, Record Collector etc. Many of the acts on the box set are currently performing live at clubs and festivals throughout the summer and this year - just a few examples are Ralph McTell and Show Of Hands who are appearing at this year's Cambridge Folk festival which is being filmed for BBC TV; Kate Rusby, Ralph McTell and The Watersons at this year's Sidmouth 50th (which is being recorded for radio), and Show of Hands at this year's Cropredy festival.
