Le Orme is an Italian progressive rock band formed in 1966 in Venice. The group is considered one of the pioneers of the Italian progressive rock scene and has drawn comparisons to bands like Yes and Emerson, Lake & Palmer for their symphonic approach to rock music.

"Contrappunti", released in 1974, is one of their most celebrated albums. It showcases the band's signature blend of intricate compositions, lush melodies, and classical influences.
