LPCDreissues: Looking forward to the past

Apryl Fool's self titled album, originally released in 1969, is one of the rarest and most sought after pieces of Japanese psychedelia. Formed out of the ashes of a Monkees worshiping beat group, and featuring two members that would go on to form the legendary Yellow Magic Orchestra, Apyrl Fool captures perfectly the baked and burnt outer edges of late '60s psych. Moody, fuzzy, bluesy, trippy, spacey, heavy, proggy... you name it, this record has it all. This is hard psych at its best and it's finally back in print on LP.
