LPCDreissues: Looking forward to the past

The debut album by this Toronto teenager appeared in the spring of 1969, and makes its long overdue return to CD here. Apart from a stunning psychedelic rendition of the title track, it's a lost singer-songwriter gem, calling to mind the best work of Joni Mitchell, Laura Nyro and Melanie, with backing from noted musicians who also played with Bob Dylan, Tim Hardin, Steely Dan and others.
